Methodology
The 2026 cents this page multiplies
This mileage reimbursement calculator 2026 applies 72.5 cents before July and 76 cents after. An irs mileage calculator that uses one rate for all of 2026 will miss the July split. A sales rep mileage calculator still needs the trip date before it can pick a rate. Reimbursement is miles times that rate. Charity and medical cents are not inputs here. Those rows live on the IRS mileage rate 2026 page. CSV export writes trip date, miles, the rate, and the dollar total.
- 1Set the trip date. The default is July 15, 2026.
- 2Set business miles. The default is 80.
- 3Read the dollar total and the cents the date selected.
- 4Download the row as CSV if you want the line in a sheet. No signup is required.

When it lies
The cents lie when the trip date is a guess
Sixty dollars and eighty cents lies if the 80 miles were reconstructed on Sunday. A trip dated June 30, 2026 at 76 cents is the wrong half of the year. A trip dated July 1, 2026 at 72.5 cents is also the wrong half. The cents only work when the route and the day are the same record.
A Sunday odometer
Miles without a clocked shift are a reconstruction, not a trip.
The wrong half of 2026
June 30, 2026 is 72.5 cents. July 1, 2026 is 76 cents. Mixing those halves lies.
Charity or medical
This page multiplies the business rate only. Charity and medical rows are on the IRS page.

The desk
Clock the route that produced the miles
The cents are public. The route is not, unless the shift was clocked. Knockdesk holds the route and the clock. You still apply the IRS optional rates to your own records. Full desk is on the pricing page.
