solar sales software
You are looking for solar sales software because the setter booked a sit the closer never saw. Knockdesk is field sales software for setter and closer crews that log that handoff, watch sit rate on the week, and pay the vendor rate when the sale is confirmed. It does not measure a roof or map shade. The field activity on this page is a sample. It is not a customer day.

The sit
Solar sales on this desk is the setter knock, the sit on the visit, and the closer who has to walk in with the notes. A solar canvassing app that only counts doors does not tell you which sits actually happened. A solar door to door app that stops at the pin leaves the closer cold. A solar sales app here is both seats on one turf, not a shade sketch. The metric cards on this page are a sample week. They are not a customer result.

The week
Solar d2d software has to survive the days between the knock and the confirmed sale. These are the jobs that stall that cycle, written as problems, not as quotes.
The setter's notes live in a thread the closer does not open. The sit starts as a cold call in the living room.
Knocks look busy while sits stay thin. If appointments are not an outcome on the pin, sit rate is a guess on a whiteboard.
The week of the knock is not the week of confirmation. Pay has to wait for the vendor file, not for a remembered handshake.
A lost close still burned setter time, closer time, and a sit slot. If the outcome never hit the pin, you cannot coach the miss.
The desk
A manager configures outcome stages for this vertical. They add setter labels and closer labels the reps pick after End Knock, including Creates Lead, Requires Follow-up for the sit, and Show on Deal Board when the stage should sit as a deal column. Draw the territory, cut turf, and put the vendor on that pack. Knockdesk does not measure roofs and does not map shade. Full desk is the only Knockdesk plan. A free trial is not open.
| Piece | What the manager does |
|---|---|
| Outcomes | Open Outcome Stages and add setter and closer labels. Set Creates Lead, Requires Notes, Requires Follow-up, Marks as DNC, or Show on Deal Board. |
| Territory and turf | Draw the territory, then cut turf by lasso, by a CSV of addresses, or from pins already on the map. Assign setter turf and keep the sit on that pin. |
| Vendors | Put one vendor on the turf so confirmation pays that vendor's rate when the long cycle finally confirms. |
| What this desk does not do | No roof measurement. No shade tool. Import a CSV or Excel list of addresses if you have pins to load. |
| Full desk | Full desk. No other Knockdesk tier. |
The talk
Consent comes first. The rep picks Verbal Consent, Written Consent, or Will Record Consent, then Start Recording, or Skip Recording to keep the knock with no file. Coaching scores the script a manager published for this crew. A draft does not score. A later talk can close learn and apply or field practice when the step shows. Knockdesk does not whisper during the sit. Publish four solar steps like these.

The game
Sit rate is a rivalry you can score. Head to head is the format that fits two setters, and enrollment stays invite only. Pick appointments or knocks, set prizes, save the draft, then Activate and Make it live. A new setter can log knocks before they finish onboarding. Contest eligibility can still require finished onboarding. Knockdesk has 9 formats: Sprint, Marathon, Head to head, Team battle, Custom Team Challenge, Territory War, Survivor, Achievement race, and Bracket. Territory War stays with admins.

The file
A long cycle still pays the vendor rate that was live at confirmation, not a rate someone typed later. If that vendor has no rate, Knockdesk uses the default organization rate. If neither exists, the amount stays empty. The product never invents a rate. A lost close that was already confirmed is a void when that sale should not pay. Void, when a commission row exists, writes a reversal of that amount times negative one. Dispute leaves the ledger as it is until you confirm again or void.
| Job | What Knockdesk does |
|---|---|
| Vendor rate | Amount, currency USD when blank, and an effective-from time. Confirmation uses the window that contains that moment. |
| Default organization rate | Used only when the vendor on the sale has no rate at confirmation. |
| Confirm | The vendor is required. A file row matches on the rep's CRM email, exact. Names are not matched. |
| Chargeback on a lost close | Void stores a reason and writes a reversal. A sale already voided cannot be voided again. |
| Dispute | Sets Under dispute and leaves the dollars already written. Resolve by confirming again or by voiding. |
The door
This page is general information, not legal advice. Knockdesk records the in-person talk after the rep confirms consent. It does not measure the roof, map shade, or issue a city permit. The visit, the do-not-contact pin, and the unverified badge still have to sit on the address.
Enable Recording asks how consent was obtained before Start Recording. Skip Recording continues the knock with no file.
Mark DNC on the pin, or complete a stage with Marks as DNC. Those pins stay out of coverage.
Outside Location Verification Maximum Distance, default 100 meters, Log visit still saves with an Unverified visit badge.
Knockdesk does not measure a roof and does not map shade. Import a CSV or Excel list if you have addresses to load.

FAQ
It is the territory, the setter knock, the sit on the visit, the closer's notes, the recording after consent, and the vendor rate at confirmation. Knockdesk is field sales software. It does not measure a roof or map shade. Full desk is on the pricing page.
Both jobs sit on the same seat. A solar canvassing app here is the setter's knocks. A solar door to door app here is those knocks plus the sit the closer has to run.
Make the sit an outcome stage the setter picks, with Requires Follow-up if they must book it, and Show on Deal Board if it should be a column. Appointments on a Head to head contest can score that same metric.
No. Onboarding does not block knocks. Head to head eligibility can still require finished onboarding before a setter scores in that game.
No. Solar d2d software on this desk is the knock, the sit, coaching, contests, and commissions. Import a CSV or Excel list if you have addresses. Knockdesk does not connect to a roof or shade product.
No. Full desk is the only Knockdesk plan. It is Full desk. A free trial is not open. Book a walkthrough and bring the setter notes the closer never got.
