Knockdesk training for the desk you will run

Knockdesk training on this page is Canvass, the visit, the route, the conversation, Coach, the pipeline, contests, and commissions, written as one course. Knockdesk is field sales software. Knockdesk certification here is a name you type in this browser and a print. It is not accredited and it does not create an account. A free trial of the desk is not open.

Canvass

The territory has to exist before the knock

Knockdesk training starts on the map. You draw a territory as a polygon, a circle, a rectangle, or a zip, county, or state. Then you cut turf inside it by lasso, by a CSV of pins, or from pins already on the map. The lasso has to stay inside the territory and cannot overlap turf you already cut. Assign the turf to a field rep. Field prospecting is Full, Semi, or Unrestricted. Full keeps the rep on pins assigned to them. Semi lets them knock an unassigned place only inside a territory that allows field prospecting. Unrestricted lets them create a pin where they stand. Onboarding does not block a knock. A shared list in a chat is not a territory, and the next loop cannot see who held the doors.

Visit

Every door still has to land on the pin

The visit is Start Knock or Log visit on that address, including Not Home. Do Not Contact stays off coverage. Reps log on iOS and Android. The phone keeps the outcome when the signal drops and sends it when the bars return. Managers read those visits on the web. The GPS clock uses Active with location required. Auto-Clock can clock you in when starting a route or when starting a knock. Clocked In and Knocking are shift states, not a second hours column. The sample visit on this page, Appointment for Maya Chen, is a sample, not a customer door. A Friday memory and a group chat are not the visit. The next loop will treat a blank pin as fresh.

Route

Order the doors that are still open

The route takes turf a rep already holds and lines up unfinished stops. Finished doors stay finished. Optimize order runs when 3 to 25 routable stops are selected. A saved pack is ordered in chunks of 24 unfinished stops. Starting the route sets the shift to On Route. Auto-Clock when starting a route is on unless you turn it off, so a rep who is still offline can clock in, then go On Route. When every stop is done, the pack completes and the shift returns to Clocked In. Round trip is off. The sample line on this page, 418 Oak Ave open and 90 Pine Ct done, is a sample, not a customer loop. A spreadsheet that reopens finished doors is how the morning lies.

Conversation

Consent first, then the file

The conversation is a recording after consent. The rep picks verbal, written, or consent they will capture on the file, then Start Recording. Skip Recording continues the knock with no file. Knockdesk does not ask the other party for you. The transcript is labeled after the door. A suggested outcome sits beside the outcome the rep logged and does not overwrite it. There is no whisper during the talk. The sample rows on this page, 418 Oak Ave and 90 Pine Ct, are a sample, not a customer week. A recap in the lot is not a file the manager can replay, and the coaching inbox has nothing to score.

Coach

Paste the six steps. Do not load a file from this page.

Coach holds six steps: opening, rapport, discovery, presentation, objections, and close. You paste the script. The product does not import a lesson from this academy page. An admin names the script, picks teams or leaves All teams, and publishes at least one named step. A draft does not score talks. After the recording, each step is used, missed, not applicable, or could not check. The sample steps on this page, opener at 7 of 9 talks, are a sample, not a customer script. A chat script never gets a used or missed mark, so the hire can say the line and still leave the visit blank.

Pipeline

The lead opens from the visit

The pipeline is a lead that opens when the outcome stage has Creates Lead on, one lead per pin and vendor. Show on Deal Board adds that stage as a column. Not Home does not create a lead. A bought list uses Import leads. Territory and vendor are required. The file is CSV, XLSX, or XLS. Import and export stay import and export. Knockdesk has no third-party integrations and no live sync. The deal card on this page, Oak Ave install, is a sample, not a customer job. A name typed into a sheet is not that household, and Friday cannot find a deal that never sat on the pin.

Contests

Start the game on knocks they already logged

Contests run on Compete. The nine formats are Sprint, Marathon, Head to head, Team battle, Custom Team Challenge, Territory War, Survivor, Achievement race, and Bracket. Territory War is admin only. The other eight sit on the admin desk and the sales manager desk. Head to head stays invite only. Eligibility can require finished onboarding. That is a join rule, not a knock block. Achievement race is scored on badges. Bracket is single-elimination at 4, 8, 16, or 32. Save as draft, then Activate and Make it live. The sample cards on this page, Appointment sprint and North vs Harbor, are a sample, not a customer blitz. A chat contest invents standings the turf cannot prove.

Commissions

Pay the rate that was live. Never invent one.

Commission takes the vendor rate effective at confirmation, then the default organization rate if that vendor has none. If neither exists, the amount stays empty and no commission row is written. The product never invents a rate. This page does not publish a dollar rate. Full desk is the only Knockdesk plan. A spreadsheet will type a rate that was never saved. Knockdesk will leave the amount empty instead.
