Export a file, not a sync
You export a report as a file from Analytics, then Reports. Knockdesk is field sales software that builds a saved report, runs an export, and lets you Download PDF, Excel, or CSV. That file leaves the desk. It is not a live sync.
Book a Walkthrough- 1Open Analytics. Dashboard is the first tab. Admins and sales managers also see Knocks, Explorer, Views, Reports, Schedule, and Compensation when Explorer is on the seat.
- 2On Explorer, build the query, then save it as a report. Reports is empty until a report exists. The empty state says to build a query in Explorer, then save it as a report.
- 3Open Reports and select the report. Export opens Export Report.
- 4Pick PDF (sharing and printing), Excel (further analysis), or CSV (raw data). Export starts a run.
- 5When the run is ready, Download saves the file. If nothing has run yet, Run Now generates an export.
- 6Stay on this file flow. Do not look for a live connection to another system. Import and export on this desk stay import and export.
The file
What leaves the desk, and what does not
A scheduled report still writes a file. It does not keep another product in sync. Compensation on Analytics is a separate file path for pay lines. This article is the Reports export: one saved report, one format, one download.
