create a contest
Start a game as a draft
You create a contest as a game on Compete, for the crew already on the map. Knockdesk is field sales software that scores one format on one metric, on dates you set. An admin opens Compete, then Games. A sales manager opens the same Games tab on the teams they lead. Territory war stays with admins.
Book a Walkthrough- 1Open Compete, then Games. Start a game opens the wizard: Format, Basics, Scoring, Prizes, Review.
- 2Pick a format. Sprint, Marathon, Head to head, Team battle, Custom team challenge, Survivor, Achievement race, and Bracket are on both desks. Territory war is admin only.
- 3On Basics enter Name, Description, Starts, and Ends. Enrollment is Open, Invite only, or Automatic. Head to head stays invite only. Team battle uses automatic entry for the org teams you include.
- 4On Scoring pick the metric the game counts, such as Knocks, Conversations, Appointments, or Confirmed sales. Achievement race is scored on Badges.
- 5Add prizes, then Review. Save as draft. Reps do not see a draft.
- 6Open the game and Activate. Make it live lets eligible reps join and start scoring. Check the dates, rules, and prizes first.
