what is a sales streak
Days in a row that still count
What is a sales streak is days or knocks in a row that still count. Knockdesk is field sales software, and gamification can show a streak on that desk. A chat that says Maya is on fire is not the count.

| Definition | Days or knocks in a row that still count, on a streak the desk can show. |
| Activity streak | A finished knock records it, even when that knock awards 0 points. |
| Same day | More knocks on the same day still count as that day. They do not add a second day. |
| Types on the desk | Activity, performance, contact, and conversion. A freeze is only for a count above 0. |
The count
A flame in the chat is not a streak the desk can hold
You feel it when Maya missed a day and the thread still says she is on 12. What is a sales streak includes a day that still counts. Forty knocks on Tuesday are still one day on the activity streak. A missed day with no freeze resets the count. Knockdesk does not invent another scoring rule on top of that.
The day
The activity streak counts consecutive days. Same-day knocks still count as work. They do not add another day.
The freeze
A rep can freeze their own active streak for 24 hours, once in that calendar month. A streak at 0 cannot be frozen.
At risk
A streak is at risk when more than 20 hours have passed and the last activity was not today, unless it is still frozen.
Six days
Forty knocks, one missed day, two counts you can recompute
Maya knocks six days in a row. On day six her activity streak reads 6. She does not freeze. She misses the next day. The next knock starts the count at 1. Jordan is on 5, freezes that active streak for 24 hours, and misses a day while it is frozen. Jordan's count stays 5. The chat still says Maya is on 12. The desk does not.
| Rep | What they did | Streak the desk can show |
|---|---|---|
| Maya | 6 days, then a miss, no freeze | Resets to 1 on the next knock |
| Jordan | 5 days, freeze on, then a miss | Stays 5 through that 24 hours |
| Maya, Tuesday | 40 knocks on one day | Still 1 day added, not 40 |
| A streak at 0 | Freeze attempted | It does not save |

A streak is not the contest and not the deal math
A sales contest scores a metric inside a window. A deal is the sale you confirm. What is a sales streak is the run of days that still count. Gamification can show that streak next to the outcome the rep already logged.
