fiber sales training
Fiber sales training for the offer on the card
Fiber sales training on this page is six lessons on this same URL: the territory, the visit, the offer, the recording, Coach, and the order. Knockdesk is field sales software. You paste the six steps. The product does not import this page. Do not invent an ISP promo. A free trial of the desk is not open.

Territory
One vendor on the turf before the knock
Draw the territory as a polygon, a circle, a rectangle, or a zip, county, or state. Cut turf inside it by lasso, by a CSV of pins, or from pins already on the map. The lasso has to stay inside the territory and cannot overlap turf you already cut.
Put one vendor on each pack so a crew can carry more than one ISP without mixing them. Field prospecting is Full, Semi, or Unrestricted. Full keeps the rep on pins assigned to them. Semi lets them knock an unassigned place only inside a territory that allows field prospecting. Unrestricted lets them create a pin where they stand. Do Not Contact stays off coverage. Onboarding does not block a knock. When the serviceability list changes, import a CSV, XLSX, or XLS on Import leads. Territory and vendor are required. That is a file you upload, not a live pull from another product.
- 1Draw the territory, then cut turf inside it.
- 2Assign the turf to a rep.
- 3Put one vendor on that pack.
- 4Set prospecting to Full, Semi, or Unrestricted.
- 5Leave Do Not Contact off coverage.
- 6When the address list changes, import the file onto that territory and vendor.
Visit
Log the door against the list you imported
The visit is Start Knock or Log visit on that address. Log every door, including Not Home. Not Home does not create a lead. A blank pin looks fresh on the next loop, even if the rep remembers the porch.
Reps log on iOS and Android. The phone keeps the outcome when the signal drops and sends it when the bars return. Managers read those visits on the web. If the address is not on the vendor file you imported, do not invent an offer to keep the knock alive. Log what you can, and do not sell a plan the vendor will not take.
Not Home
Log Not Home. Do not leave an invented promo on a door that did not open.
Do Not Contact
Do Not Contact stays off coverage. A new list does not put those doors back in play.
Wrong vendor
The vendor on the turf is the vendor for the talk. Do not quote a second ISP from memory.
List moved
If the house dropped off the file, stop the offer and log the door. Do not keep yesterday's promo.
Offer
Say the card. Do not invent an ISP promo.
Fiber sales training at the door names you, the company, and fiber on this turf, then stays on offers you can show. Ask who the internet bill is under. Do not take the account number on the porch. Ask what breaks when more than one person is on wifi. Do not invent a speed.
Say the plan on the card, and the install window only if you have it. If a promo is not on that card, do not say it. This page does not publish a dollar promo, a free month, or a speed. The product never invents a rate.
| Moment | Say this | Do not say this |
|---|---|---|
| Opening | I am [name] with [company]. I am on this turf about fiber. I will only talk about offers I can show. | There is a promo I heard in the van. |
| Bill | Who is the internet bill under? I do not need the account number. | Read me the account number on the porch. |
| Plan | Here is the plan on the card, and the install window if I have it. | A price, a free month, or a speed this card does not show. |
| Close | If yes, I write the order on this address. If no, I log it. | I will tell the next loop this door was never knocked. |
Recording
Consent first. Skip still logs the order talk.
Recording is opt-in. Consent comes first. Say your name and company, then say you want a file. Pick Verbal Consent, Written Consent, or Will Record Consent, then Start Recording. Knockdesk does not ask the other party for you.
If they say no, Skip Recording. The knock continues with no file, and you still log the door. After a file exists, each step can be used, missed, not applicable, or could not check. A suggested outcome sits beside the outcome you logged. The score does not replace the outcome.
- 1Name yourself and the company before you ask to record.
- 2Pick Verbal Consent, Written Consent, or Will Record Consent.
- 3Start Recording only after they agree.
- 4If they refuse, Skip Recording and keep the knock.
- 5Log the door either way, including Not Home.
- 6Keep the outcome you picked. The score does not replace the outcome.
Coach
Paste six steps. Leave the promo out.
Coach holds six steps: opening, rapport, discovery, presentation, objections, and close. You paste the script. The product does not import this page. An admin names the script, picks teams or leaves All teams, and publishes at least one named step. A draft does not score talks.
Do not paste an ISP promo this card does not show. The sample steps on this page, opener at 7 of 9 talks, are a sample, not a customer script. A line in chat never gets a used or missed mark.
- 1Opening: name, company, and fiber on this turf. No invented ISP promo.
- 2Rapport: who the internet bill is under. Leave the account number off the porch.
- 3Discovery: what breaks when the house is on wifi together. Do not invent a speed.
- 4Presentation: the plan on the card, and the install window only if you have it.
- 5Objections: a contract gets a follow-up on the pin. A no gets not interested.
- 6Close: write the order on this address, or log the no.

Order
The order sits on the vendor for that turf
A lead opens when the outcome stage has Creates Lead on, one lead per pin and vendor. Show on Deal Board adds that stage as a column. Not Home does not create a lead. Requires Follow-up can block Complete visit until the date is on the visit.
Write the order on this address for the vendor on the pack. If the install is later called off, log that on the same pin. The product takes the vendor rate effective at confirmation and never invents a rate. This page does not publish a dollar promo. A name in a chat is not the household.
Order on the pin
Yes writes the order on this address. The next loop should see it.
Not interested
A no still logs. Do not leave the pin blank.
Contract
Write the follow-up on the visit. Do not invent a promo to break the contract.
Cancelled install
Log the cancel on the same pin. The product does not invent a rate to replace the one that was live.
Check the offer
Five questions before the next porch
Pick one answer on each question. Each choice adds points. The band is the highest min score your total still clears. This quiz is teaching, not a certified test.
1. The door opens. What do you say about the offer?
2. You need to know who pays the bill. What do you ask?
3. The house was on yesterday's file and it is off today's import. What do you do?
4. They will hear the plan and they refuse the recording. What do you do?
5. How do these fiber lines get into Coach?
