How to import a lead list in Knockdesk is a file you upload, not a live sync. Knockdesk is field sales software. Open Import leads, pick a territory and a vendor, upload a CSV or Excel file, map the columns, then let geocode finish the pins.
Book a Walkthrough- 1Open Import leads. On the map that control is labeled Import leads. On the leads list the button is Import.
- 2Select a Territory and a Vendor. Both are required. Lead source and Assign to are optional.
- 3Upload a.csv,.xlsx, or.xls file. Click to upload or drag and drop.
- 4On Map, map a full name or first name plus last name. Map at least one of email, phone, or address, plus a location: full address columns, or both latitude and longitude.
- 5Review the rows, then run Import. Geocode fills missing coordinates from addresses, and missing address fields from coordinates.
- 6Open Done when the job finishes. Download a failures CSV if any rows did not import.
The file
A list is a snapshot, not a pipe
Import leads CSV is a file you bring to the desk. There is no live sync from another system. The wizard is Upload, Map, Review, Import, Geocode, then Done. If the address line, city, state, and postal code are not all present when you use address import, the row will not geocode cleanly.
