# Not home door knocking list for the second pass

## A second pass canvassing route is not a new turf

A second pass canvassing route walks the not-home rows on the turf you already cut. A callback list template door to door fails when someone pastes those addresses into a brand-new pack and two reps own the same pin.

1. Keep the territory and the turf from the first pass.
2. Write the address, the first knock time, and Not home.
3. Pick an afternoon or evening window for the return.
4. Assign the rep who will walk that window.
5. Leave a short note. Do not start a second turf.

## A sheet in the van is already late

The CSV can hold the window. It cannot stop a second rep from knocking the pin before the evening pass.

**Not home.** Still a logged visit. Coverage includes it.

**Window.** Afternoon and evening are the return, not a new neighborhood.

**Same turf.** The pack does not get redrawn because the first knock missed.
