# Do not knock list template for pins you skip

A do not knock list template is the address, the source, when it was logged, and who logged it, so the next rep does not knock it. Knockdesk is field sales software. The three rows use a city list, a no-soliciting sign, and a resident who asked. A no soliciting pin log is that second row. The houses are made up. Download the CSV with no email.

## The skip stays with the turf

Write the row, then mark the pin. The next rep on that turf should not see it as a knock. On the desk, Do Not Contact stays off the knock list and does not count toward coverage.

1. Copy the address.
2. Name the source: city list, no-soliciting sign, or the resident asked.
3. Note when it was logged and who logged it.
4. Mark the pin so the next loop skips it.
5. Do not delete the turf. The skip belongs to that pack.

## A spreadsheet row still gets knocked

The CSV can list the house. The next rep knocks it if the pin is still on the walk.

**City list.** You typed it from the list you opened. Knockdesk does not pull that file in.

**Sign.** A no-soliciting sign is a source the rep can log at the door.

**They asked.** A resident request is the third source. It stays on the pin.

## Coverage does not include the skip

A knock that is not at the door can save as unverified. A Do Not Contact pin is different: it is off the list, and it is not coverage.
