# Run the setter closer sales model on one visit

The setter closer sales model is a setter outcome, an appointment handoff, and notes the closer reads on the same visit. Knockdesk is field sales software for that handoff. Pay follows the vendor rate on the confirmed sale. There is no automatic setter and closer split.

## Appointment setter software door to door logs the outcome on the pin

The setter knocks turf they hold and picks the outcome after the knock. The appointment is that outcome on the visit, not a text the closer has to reconstruct. When the stage requires notes, the notes stay on the visit. Onboarding does not block the setter from knocking.

**The outcome.** The setter logs the outcome on the pin, including the appointment they booked.

**The notes.** Notes required by that stage sit on the visit. The closer should not rebuild the household from a thread.

**The turf.** Setter turf is cut inside a territory. New turf cannot overlap turf already cut.

## The appointment handoff is the visit, not a second system

The handoff is the closer opening the visit the setter already logged. Same address, same notes, same outcome. Nothing in Knockdesk splits commission between the two seats.

1. Cut turf inside the territory and assign the setter. New turf cannot overlap.
2. The setter logs the outcome at the door, including the appointment, and writes the notes the stage requires.
3. The closer opens that visit and reads the notes before they sit down.
4. Confirm the sale when it is won. Pay follows the vendor rate on that confirmed sale.
5. Do not look for an automatic setter and closer split. Knockdesk does not have a split-commission feature.

## The closer sees the notes on the visit

The closer opens the visit and reads what the setter wrote: the outcome, the appointment, and the notes. Recording on that knock is opt-in. Consent is a step. Skip still logs the outcome. A score does not replace the logged outcome. If you paste a talk into Coach, the steps are opening, rapport, discovery, presentation, objections, and close. There is no script import.

## Pay follows the vendor rate on the confirmed sale

Confirmation picks the rate you already saved. It does not invent an amount, and it does not divide that amount into a setter share and a closer share. A residual line appears only when a saved rate exists.

| What is saved | What Knockdesk pays |
| --- | --- |
| Vendor rate at confirmation | That vendor rate. The window has to contain the confirmation. |
| No vendor rate | The organization default, if one is saved. |
| Neither rate | The amount stays empty. The product never invents a rate. |
| Setter and closer | No automatic split. There is no split-commission feature. |
