# The knock still saves when the signal drops

How offline mode works in Knockdesk is a knock that still saves when the signal drops. Knockdesk is field sales software. A banner says you are offline and that knocks will be saved and synced when you reconnect. Keep logging the door. The queue uploads when the connection returns.

## Offline is a save, not a pause

Knocks saved offline sit on the device until sync. Some pages are not available offline. A door you only write in a notes app never joins the queue. When the banner is gone and pending is zero, the visit is on the desk.

**The banner.** You are offline. Knocks will be saved and synced when you reconnect.

**Pending.** A count means knocks are waiting to sync. Syncing means the upload is running.

**Not every page.** Some screens stay unavailable offline. The knock you already started still saves.
