# Clock in with location on

How the GPS clock works in Knockdesk is a clock-in that reads the phone. Knockdesk is field sales software. Turn the Active toggle on. The desk asks for location and writes the shift. Without location, clock-in will not start.

## The clock is where the rep is, not a timesheet later

The Active toggle clock in is the start of the shift a manager can see. States include Clocked in, On route, At door, Knocking, On break, and Idle. Auto-Clock Settings also has break detection and end-of-day prompts. A crew that clocks in from the office and knocks across town leaves Friday with a shift that does not match the turf.

**Active.** The toggle clocks you in with latitude, longitude, and accuracy from the phone.

**Auto-Clock.** When starting a route and When starting a knock can turn the shift on without the toggle.

**Break.** Take Break and End Break sit under Active while you are clocked in and not on a route.
