# Lasso turf that stays inside the territory

How to cut turf with the lasso is a draw that stays inside a saved territory. Knockdesk is field sales software. Open Create Turf or Lasso Selection, pick the territory and a vendor, then Start Drawing. The lasso cannot leave the boundary or overlap turf you already cut.

## The lasso is not a second territory

Lasso Selection cuts work from a territory a rep can hold. Existing turf stays on the map so you draw without overlapping. A lasso that crosses the territory line will not save. A lasso that sits on turf you already cut will not save. That is the difference between a pack a rep can walk and a scribble that fights the last cut.

**Territory first.** Create Turf asks you to select a territory. Drawing stays inside that boundary.

**Vendor required.** Every turf needs a vendor before Create will run.

**No overlap.** The product blocks a lasso that overlaps an existing turf by name.
