# Line up the stops still left on turf

How to build a route in Knockdesk is a list of stops left on turf a rep holds. Knockdesk is field sales software. Open Create route from the territory or the turf, filter the pins, select at least one stop, enter a Route name, then Create route. Visit order is optimized when you start.

## A route is unfinished doors, in driving order

Create route from turf is the pack a rep can walk on Monday. The selector starts on Unvisited pins. A route with no stops will not save. Starting the route is what writes the driving order. Building the list in a notes app leaves Friday with a loop nobody finished.

## After the route is named

- [Knockdesk help center](/help): The knock and the clock after the route starts.

- [Knockdesk pricing](/pricing): The desk that holds the route with the turf.

- [Sales route planning](/features/sales-route-planning): The feature page for unfinished stops on held turf.
