# Two names, one metric, invite only

What is a head to head sales challenge is two reps, or two teams, scored on the same metric in one window. Knockdesk is field sales software, and Head to head is one of 9 Compete formats. Enrollment stays invite only. A group chat rivalry is not that game.

## A chat can name a rival. It cannot keep a third name off the field.

You feel it when two reps both think they won and a third person posted knocks in the thread. What is a head to head sales challenge includes who was invited. Maya's 142 knocks only beat Jordan's 118 if knocks was the metric, those knocks hit a pin inside the window, and both names were invited. Riley's 97 knocks in the chat never had a seat.

**Invite.** Head to head stays invite only. Invite at least one rep. A team pair needs two org teams.

**Metric.** Knocks, conversations, appointments, or confirmed sales. Pick one before you make it live.

**Draft.** The game stays off the field until you activate it. Eligible reps do not see a draft.

## One hundred forty-two against one hundred eighteen, and a chat that did not count

A 5-day Head to head on knocks. Maya is invited. Jordan is invited. Maya logs 142 knocks. Jordan logs 118. Riley logs 97 and was never invited. Maya wins 142 to 118. The chat still argues three ways. The desk only scored the pair.

| Name | Knocks in the window | On the challenge |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Maya | 142 | Invited. First. |
| Jordan | 118 | Invited. Second. |
| Riley | 97 | Not invited. No rank. |
