# Finished doors over the turf you assigned

Sales coverage ratio is finished doors divided by assigned doors on turf. Knockdesk is field sales software, and what is sales coverage ratio here is visited pins on that pack, including nobody home, not a colored shape on a slide.

## Coverage that treats Do Not Contact as work is a lie about the turf

You feel it when Friday says the pack is done and Monday still has doors the crew must not hit. What is sales coverage ratio is finished work over assigned work. Nobody-home is finished work. Do Not Contact is a pin you leave alone. Counting it as coverage makes the turf look complete.

**Assigned.** The doors on that turf. If two people can claim them, you do not have a pack yet.

**Finished.** A visit landed. Nobody home still counts. The next crew should not recut that pin as fresh.

**Left out.** Do Not Contact and invalid addresses do not move coverage. They come off the workable base.

## One hundred eighty-six pins, three DNC, a percent you can recompute

North ridge holds 186 assigned pins. 3 are Do Not Contact. Maya finishes 78 doors, and 22 of those 78 are Not Home. Workable assigned doors are 186 minus 3, which is 183. Coverage ratio is 78 / 183, about 42.6 percent. If someone counts the 3 DNC pins as finished, they read 81 / 186, about 43.5 percent. That extra finished work never happened.

| Case | Finished | Assigned base | Coverage |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Honest read | 78, including 22 Not Home | 186 minus 3 DNC = 183 | 78 / 183 ≈ 42.6% |
| DNC counted as finished | 81 | 186 | 81 / 186 ≈ 43.5% |
| What changed | 3 pins that must not be knocked | They stayed in the base | The pack looks more done than it is |

## Coverage is the map. Disposition is the door.

A door disposition is the outcome on one pin. Do not contact is the disposition that takes a pin off coverage. Turf is the pack those 186 doors sit on. Sales coverage ratio is the fraction, not the label on a single door.

## How Knockdesk tracks it

Knockdesk reads coverage on the turf as finished visits over assigned pins that are still workable. Not Home still counts. Do Not Contact and Invalid Address do not count toward coverage. The turf row shows visited pins against the pack. Full desk is on the pricing page.
